You can now post anonymous retrospective feedback

Published at Aug 7, 2020

We’ve received a feature request from some scrum masters asking that they’d like to post their feedback anonymously on the retrospective board

They encourage their team members to post anonymously so they can get better discussions during the retro.

We listened and turned this into a feature, you can now just click on the ‘mask’ to toggle on or off the anonymous mode while posting retrospective feedback. Have a look:

We added a welcome tour on the retrospective board

We noticed some users could get more out of retros.work, for instance by converting retrospective feedback into to-dos. Which not everyone uses.

A screen recording showing how to convert retrospective feedback into to-dos, by just selecting them

That's why in this update we added a tiny product tour on the retrospective board to guide new users through all buttons.

Improved onboarding

We’ve improved our welcome emails with animated gifs to give you a better product tour. When you invite team members they get a better understanding of the product.

More automations

We‘ve added 3 automations when your trial expires. So when you forget, you can just upgrade to a paid plan via next week’s reminder.

User growth

It’s been a good month and we gained 700+ users in 30 days. Thank you! Great to have you on-board.

Why the need for a retrospective app?

The traditional scrum retrospective is a great tool to reflect and improve. But the reality has shown some issues: we forget what went wrong during the sprint, so we keep manual lists. Then we go into a session that takes up 60 minutes, of which 40 minutes is focused on presenting those sticky notes. We lack the time to really focus on the solutions. We then take a picture of the wall with sticky notes, and digitalize those results again. 'That was a good talk!' ... but there aren't hard assigned to-dos. Some big issues still haunt your team for months.

Retros.work helps you get the most out of your team. By providing you with an online retrospective board combined with all the right features. HR trends to keep the energy in your team. Smooth and easy way to give- and receive feedback, assigned to-dos and automatic archiving. You’ll save time and focus on solutions.
